Digital Asset Creator - Genesis Story: Origin
Traversing the boundary between technological application and speculative storytelling, offering a unique perspective on the potential future of digital technology.
The Fusion of Art and Technology has been my mantra for some time. And it's not easy to explain what I mean because many aspects of it are still forming, or perhaps in a flux of change. But I hope you would agree that this is not a bad thing per se. It’s an evolving idea.
A number of events taught me that I cannot change anything around me for the better (hopefully) unless I first change myself. It's not about becoming a new and different person. It is about uncovering a way that allows me to approach problems differently.
To understand digital technology and blockchain, I had to learn its language. With precise language and boolean logic, I can communicate with the system and understand its 'thoughts', and in turn, it can ‘comprehend’ what I need as a user to achieve the desired outcome. Initially, this approach felt dehumanising, but it actually led to the opposite: the emergence of a digital mindset, inspired by principles from Zen philosophy (a mind without mind), Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem, Bohm's concept of dialogue, and Heidegger's notion of authenticity.
These philosophical concepts became tangible and practical, offering a fresh perspective on solving business problems and forming a story that, while fantastical, is also fundamentally true. And that’s the Digital Asset Creator.
And I wanted to share this video, it is experimental and perhaps overly ambitious. But it is a genuine attempt to explain what the fusion of art and technology means or where it comes from.
